On Sunday Afternoon (November 213rd) we have the third and last in our series of Autumn Chamber Music Concerts. This concert starts at 3pm and is a wonderful programme of song and chamber music for bass-baritone and strings. Co-curator of the festival Thomas Coltman has devised a varied programme ranging from Mozart and Beethoven all the way to Barber, Saariaho, and folk song.
After pursuing vocal studies in London, Thomas sang in UK and European choirs, in opera choruses, including the Glyndebourne Festival, and as an oratorio soloist at venues such as Westminster’s Abbey and Central Hall, appearing on both radio and television broadcasts. He performs regularly in recital and concert with recent festival invites including the 2024 and 2025 Appalachian Chamber Music Festival, US. Principal operatic roles have included Figaro (Marriage of Figaro), Father (Hansel and Gretel), Count Robinson (The Secret Marriage) and Claudius (Agrippina).
Admission to this concert is £10 (Students £5). The concert lasts about an hour and refreshments are available after the concert.
