For our first concert in the St Augustine’s Autumn Series we are thrilled to present a concert of song and chamber music performed by Sarah Dacey (soprano), Will White (clarinet), Nancy Johnson (viola), Rosie Biss (cello) and Aisha Palmer (harp).
The programme will include cycles of beautiful, meditative, and playful songs by Maurice Ravel, Judith Weir and Penarth-based composer Robert Fokkens, and instrumental pieces by Igor Stravinsky, Rebecca Clarke and Sally Beamish. Short songs by Erik Satie, Kurt Weill and Percy Grainger complete the programme.
Please join us on Sunday 28 September at 3pm in the atmospheric and acoustically wonderful St Augustine’s Church, Penarth.
