Thank you for a wonderful church open day! ☀️⛪

What a fantastic day we had at St Mary's! A massive thank you to everyone from the community who came along and made it such a huge success.

Here are a few highlights from a brilliant day:
🎨 Art Display: The church looked spectacular filled with incredible work by local artists.

🧱 Lego Hunt: Our younger visitors did a brilliant job tracking down the hidden lego figures scattered around the church.

🌱 Plants & Cakes: The plant stall was a huge success, and the tea and cake team kept everyone well-fueled all day.

🏰 Tower Tours: Those who braved the steps were rewarded with some absolutely spectacular views.

🧸 Teddy Bear Parachute Drop: The biggest highlight of the day! Our brave teddies took the plunge from the tower and all landed safely.

An event like this wouldn't happen without a huge team effort. To everyone who volunteered, baked, stewarded, or visited—thank you.

8am - a reflective, said communion service in traditional language. A lovely way to start the day

9.30am - our monthly All-Age worship service, with songs, and a crafty-y take on The Trinity!

4.30pm - Cafe Communion in The_Space; a time for reflection, prayer and encouragement in God's word

Grief is a journey you don't have to walk alone. If you’ve lost a loved one or are finding the path difficult lately, the Oxted Bereavement Support Group is here to offer a safe, comforting space.

Run by trained volunteers, this is a completely informal drop-in group where you can chat, share experiences, or simply sit with people who truly understand.
