Last week marked the 100th birthday of David Attenborough, with the BBC broadcasting special programmes and even a personal tribute from the King. Churches and bell towers across the country were invited to join the celebrations by ringing out in his honour.
Many thanks Mike Williams, our bell captain and our ringers who braved the ladder (and the rain!) to mark this special occasion. We were delighted to take part in this nationwide tribute by chiming the bells of St Andrew's 100 times, celebrating Sir David’s remarkable century of dedication to the natural world and environmental conservation.
