Wonderful to have the combined forces of choirs and the Jericho Youth Choir with orchestra performing so much wonderful newly composed music in the Rainbows and Gardens concert. Music written by John Barber, Bob Chilcott, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, Jaakko Mäntyjärvi, Cecilia McDowall, Paul Mealor, and Deborah Pritchard was performed. Conductors were Caius Lee and Bob Chilcott.

Next Sunday, 7 June we will celebrate Corpus Christi as an external solemnity. The High Mass will be at 4.00pm rather than 10.30am due to the annual Run Jericho. The service will be followed by a Procession and Benediction in our newly restored outdoor west terrace area. All welcome!

The Jericho Youth Choir will be singing at this concert on Saturday at St Barnabas, along with the Choir of Worcester College.

Join Bob Chilcott as he conducts the Choir of Worcester College at St Barnabas, Jericho. Bob will conduct 'The Rainbow', his vibrant nine-movement piece in which mixed voices explore each of the rainbow's colours. The Choir will also premiere 'Gardens', a brand-new suite of commissions inspired by the gardens of the Bible.
