In three days, we gather in Liverpool for a difficult but necessary conversation.
Across Britain and Europe, Christians from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East are not merely joining existing churches. They are planting, preaching, praying, giving, leading, and carrying the gospel into places many assumed were beyond its reach. Yet too often, they are welcomed as guests—but not received as partners.
They can rent our buildings, but not shape our priorities. They may be invited to our services, but not to our leadership tables. We celebrate diversity, while preserving the power arrangements that make genuine mutuality impossible.
That must change.

On 4–5 September, we will gather at Liverpool Hope University and online to explore this question under the theme: Shifting Centres, Moving Peoples: Rethinking Partnership and Mutuality in an Age of Migration.
