The Centre for Muslim-Christian Studies is a Christian study centre based in Oxford committed to academically rigorous research and teaching on the Muslim-Christian interface. Our purpose is to:

(1) Promote the study of Islam among Christians and the study of Christianity among Muslims;

(2) Promote rigorous academic, impact-oriented teaching and research on the Muslim-Christian interface; and

(

3) Disseminate high-quality scholarly resources on Islam, Christianity, and the Muslim-Christian interface.

Our 2026 cohort had to say goodbye to one another today after a week of living together, tackling difficult issues, and making memories.

One student shared, "I was worried coming in. I am not a specialist in the field. I am one of the youngest people here. I think colleagues from all over–from different fields, from different walks of life coming together, sharing our passion for religion, for God, for shared dialogue, has been something that has been life-changing for me."
