Headington Baptist Church will be holding our Tenebrae Service on Good Friday.

This will be a reflective service of shadows, beginning in the light and finishing in the dark. The service will also include communion.

It has been a great Sunday at HBC! Starting the day with Carols at Courtside - it was great to see so many of our church family, families from our Toddler Group and members of the public singing the carols together.
Then we had a lovely mini Messy Church with families enjoying the crafts and listening to the Nativity story with a hot chocolate!
We will be worshipping at HBC at 10am on Christmas Day, so please come and join us!

Messy Church is, well, Church but a little bit messier. We're a regular gathering for all ages.

Join us on 21st December at 4pm for a simple retelling of the Christmas story. Suitable for all ages, we'll have a short craft time, have some warming winter refreshments and listen again to the story of the nativity together.

This is a mini Messy Church - so won't be as long.

This Sunday, we'll be taking church into the community. At 10am, 11am and 12noon we'll have a short time of carol singing outside Courtside Cafe in Bury Knowle Park. Courtside are have a special festive menu and we're inviting the community to come and join us.

There will be no service at HBC that day, instead we'd love you to sign up to one or more of the hours to come and sing carols. This is really just to make sure we have a crowd at every hour we're going to be there.

We'll send a carol sheet out in advance to everyone who signs up for you to have on your phone or print off. We'll also have printed copies available in the park.

We are all set for the Saltmine Production of Jack & the Beanstalk this evening!

Saltmine Production: Jack & the Beanstalk
Wednesday 3rd December, 6.30pm-8.30pm
Headington Baptist Church

Join us with Saltmine Theatre Company as they once again return with their magical re-imagining of a classic story. This year we're going on an adventure with Jack as he climbs the beanstalk.

On the night doors will open at 6pm, with the show starting promptly at 6:30pm. There will be an interval with refreshments provided by HBC and on the way out a Saltmine stall for any of your merchandise needs.
