Tonight, gently lay your hands upon your children as they sleep and declare GOD’S WORD over their lives. Let your voice become an instrument of blessing, faith and destiny.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” — Proverbs 18:21 NKJV

1. Father, thank You for the precious children You have entrusted to us.
2. Let every negative word spoken over their lives be cancelled by the blood of JESUS.
3. Protect their minds from fear, confusion, anxiety and every destructive influence.
4. Fill them with wisdom, confidence, discipline and the Spirit of excellence.
5. Help them discover their GOD-given purpose and give them courage to fulfil it.
6. Surround them with GODLY friends, teachers, mentors and positive influences.
7. Preserve their bodies, souls and spirits from danger, sickness and evil.
8. Let them grow in favour with GOD and with people.

My children are loved, chosen and accepted by GOD.

They are confident, courageous and secure in CHRIST.

They will not be controlled by fear, peer pressure or the opinions of others.

They possess the mind of CHRIST. They make wise and GODLY decisions.

They are protected from evil, harmful relationships, addictions and destructive habits.

They will excel academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially.

Their gifts will make room for them, and their lives will bring glory to GOD.

They will fulfil their purpose and positively influence their generation.

🕛 MIDDAY PRAYER CHECK-IN: WHAT HELP ARE YOU TRUSTING GOD FOR?

As we continue today’s prayers and fasting, pause for a moment and remember:

“My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:2 (NKJV)

You are not raising your children alone. GOD sees every concern, hears every prayer and understands the help your family needs.

Today, specifically ask GOD for help concerning:

🙏🏽 Your children’s relationship with GOD
🙏🏽 Their health, learning and emotional wellbeing
🙏🏽 Their friendships and choices
🙏🏽 Your parenting, marriage and family
🙏🏽 Your finances, work and future

GOD is sending help into our homes. We will not be stranded, overwhelmed or put to shame, in the mighty name of JESUS CHRIST. AMEN!

Tonight, place your hands upon your children as they sleep—or call their names before GOD—and declare:

Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for the precious children YOU have entrusted to us. As they enter this new week, we commit their lives, education, friendships and future into YOUR hands.

🛡️ LORD, surround them with YOUR divine protection.
🧠 Give them wisdom, understanding and excellent judgement.
❤️ Guard their hearts, minds and emotions.
🙏🏽 Help them love YOU and confidently stand for what is right.
🚪 Open doors of favour and meaningful opportunities before them.
🤝 Connect them with trustworthy friends, teachers and mentors.
⚠️ Deliver them from bullying, harmful influences, temptation and every hidden danger.
✨ Let their gifts flourish, their confidence grow and their purpose become clearer.

WE DECLARE:

Our children are taught by the LORD, and great shall be their peace. They will not be overwhelmed, distracted or led astray. They are protected, disciplined, courageous and spiritually discerning.

They will excel in learning and grow in GODLY character. They will make wise choices—even when nobody is watching. They will be leaders and positive influences among their peers.

No weapon formed against them shall prosper. Every plan of darkness concerning them is cancelled. This week, goodness and mercy shall follow them. They will leave home in peace and return with testimonies.

📖 “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)

Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for preserving my family throughout this week. As we prepare to gather in YOUR presence, I dedicate myself, my children and my entire household to YOU.

🙏🏽 Tonight, I declare:

My family will serve the LORD!

Every spirit of tiredness, distraction, discouragement and resistance to worship is broken in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

My children will love the house of GOD. They will not merely attend Church—they will participate, worship, learn, serve and grow in their relationship with JESUS.

Their hearts will be receptive to the WORD OF GOD. Their ears will hear YOUR voice, their minds will understand truth, and their lives will produce GODLY fruit.

LORD, prepare every pastor, teacher, worshipper, worker and minister whom YOU will use. Let every word, song, prayer and lesson be inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT.

Let YOUR presence fill every Church service. Save souls, heal the sick, restore families, strengthen the weary and deliver everyone held captive.

FATHER, grant us peaceful sleep and awaken us refreshed, joyful and ready to worship YOU. We will arrive on time, prepared in heart and united as a family.

As we enter YOUR house, let us encounter YOU afresh. We will not return home the same way we came.

Tomorrow will be a day of salvation, transformation, restoration and divine encounters!

As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!

Heavenly FATHER, tonight I come before YOUR throne of grace and place my children into YOUR loving and powerful hands.

Thank YOU for the precious gift of their lives. Thank YOU for preserving them, providing for them and watching over them day and night.

As I lay my hands upon my children, I declare:

🙏🏽 My children belong to GOD.

🙏🏽 They shall be taught, guided and established by the LORD.

🙏🏽 Great shall be their peace; confusion, fear, anxiety and emotional distress shall have no place in their lives.

🙏🏽 They shall hear the voice of GOD clearly and will not follow the voice of strangers.

🙏🏽 They will love the WORD of GOD, delight in prayer and grow in wisdom, faith and godly character.

🙏🏽 Every ungodly influence, destructive friendship, harmful habit and hidden trap is broken over their lives.

🙏🏽 Their minds are sound, their hearts are pure and their identities are firmly rooted in CHRIST.

🙏🏽 They shall excel academically, spiritually, socially and in every good work.

🙏🏽 They will discover their GOD-given gifts, fulfil their divine purpose and become influential leaders for the Kingdom of GOD.

🙏🏽 No weapon formed against my children shall prosper. Every evil plan concerning them is cancelled in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

🙏🏽 The LORD shall preserve their going out and their coming in. They shall not become victims of accidents, violence, abuse, addiction, manipulation or premature death.

🙏🏽 My children shall serve the LORD all the days of their lives. They will not be lost to the world. They shall arise, shine and become shining examples of GOD’S goodness.

Tonight, I cover my children with the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. Their bodies, minds, schools, friendships, decisions, futures and destinies are secured in CHRIST.

MY CHILDREN ARE TAUGHT BY THE LORD.
MY CHILDREN ARE KEPT BY THE LORD.
MY CHILDREN SHALL FULFIL THEIR GOD-GIVEN DESTINIES.

🏡 BEFORE SOCIETY INFLUENCES YOUR CHILD… FAMILY DOES.

The first society a child ever experiences is the FAMILY.

Before school.
Before friends.
Before social media.
Before celebrities and influencers.
Before the wider culture.

There is HOME.

At home, our children first learn what love looks like, how people speak to one another, how conflict is handled, whether promises matter, how we treat people, what we value — and most importantly, what place GOD has in everyday life.

They don’t only learn from what we tell them.

They learn from what they see us do.

If we want children who pray, let them see us pray.

If we want children who love GOD’S WORD, let them see us reading it.

If we want respectful children, let them experience respect.

If we want disciplined children, let them see discipline modelled.

If we want children of integrity, our private lives must agree with our public words.

📖 “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 NKJV

Parents, before we try to protect our children from every influence outside the home, let’s strengthen the influence inside it.

The world will speak.

Their friends will speak.

Social media will speak.

Culture will speak.

But HOME should have spoken first — and spoken well.

Let’s get the foundation right. ❤️

🌟 RAISING CHILDREN WHO EXCEL WITHOUT LOSING THEIR VALUES

As our children begin a new school year, let us remember: success is not measured by grades alone.

We are raising children who will be:

📚 Excellent in their learning
🙏🏽 Rooted in GOD
💛 Kind and compassionate
🛡️ Courageous under pressure
🧠 Wise in their decisions
✨ Confident in their identity
👑 Leaders of integrity and positive influence

Ask about their lessons—but also ask about their friendships, emotions, choices and challenges.

Celebrate their achievements—but praise their honesty, discipline, kindness, perseverance and willingness to help others too.

Our goal is not merely to raise children who can pass examinations. We are raising children who will pass the tests of life without compromising their faith, identity or values.

My children will increase in wisdom, knowledge and understanding. They will excel academically and grow spiritually. They will not lose themselves while trying to fit in.

They will recognise wrong influences and have the courage to walk away. They will choose friends wisely, make sound decisions and stand confidently for what is right.

My children will be high-performing, morally stable and firmly rooted in GOD. They will distinguish themselves for excellence and use their gifts to influence their generation for good.

This school year, they will flourish in wisdom, stature and favour with GOD and people.

As our children return to school, we do not send them out alone—we send them forth covered in prayer, equipped with wisdom and surrounded by the presence of GOD.

This academic year, our children will:

📚 Learn with understanding and excel beyond expectations.
🧠 Walk in wisdom, discipline and sound judgement.
🙏🏽 Remember who they are and remain rooted in CHRIST.

Tonight, I lay my hands upon my children and declare:

My children will sleep peacefully under GOD’S protection. No evil, fear, sickness or disturbance will come near them. Their minds are preserved, their bodies are strengthened, and their destinies are secure.

They will rise refreshed, favoured and ready to fulfil GOD’S purpose. They will grow in wisdom, excellence, discipline and GODLY character.

My children belong to GOD, and no power will alter HIS glorious plans for their lives.
