“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. Join us for Sunday worship tomorrow!

Our morning service is at 10:30am and we also gather in the evening at 5:00pm at the North Gate Hall, St Michael’s Street in the centre of Oxford.

Our minister Andy will be continuing our morning series on Romans and our evening series on the prophet Nahum.

There will also be tea and coffee and extended fellowship after both services.

This Sunday evening at Oxford Pres we are starting a new 5pm evening sermon series on the prophet Nahum.

Nahum went to Nineveh after they had responded to the preaching of Jonah with repentance. However, a century later, they would not repent. Nahum warns Nineveh about the coming judgement, whilst also proclaiming comfort to Judah that her enemy would be destroyed.

“Behold, upon the mountains, the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace! Keep your feasts, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the worthless pass through you; he is utterly cut off.”(Nahum 1:15 ESV)
