Oxford Young Adult Friends - Quakers

Oxford Young Adult Friends - Quakers Quakers aged 18-35 who meet for food and a short meeting for worship Mondays 7pm at the Friends Meeti We start at 7.00 pm.

Oxford Young Adult Friends is for young adult Quakers and others interested in Quakerism, aged from 18 to 30. We meet every Monday evening at the Friends Meeting House (43, St Giles, Oxford). Meetings usually include around half an hour of worship, and a baked potato supper - although on the first Monday of the month we also invite older Quakers to share a dinner and discussion with us on a set theme. Please email with any questions, or to join our mailing list!

Young Adult Climate Crisis Retreat
30 September 2022 - 2 October 2022

Taking action on the climate crisis can be exhausting. Are you feeling burnt out, anxious or spiritually depleted? This retreat in the tranquil setting at Woodbrooke will bring like-minded young people together to reflect, relax and recharge our spiritual and mental batteries.
Young adults can request funding support from their local meeting to attend.

We're finally starting meetings in the meeting house again next week (for up to 7 people, I think that's the current limit). Sadly food will no longer be provided for now. Given that, we are considering running meetings later to allow people time for dinner beforehand. Do any interested followers have ideas about good timing? Any objections to, say, 8 to 9 pm for just worship instead of 7 to 9 for worship + supper?
