Get ready for spring planting! The members of St. Helen’s Church, Dry Sandford are having a one-day plant sale on Sat., 16th May (10am-1pm) in support of St. Helen’s Church.

On offer will be a variety of garden and house plants including annual and perennial bedding plants, veggies, herbs, etc. Tea & homemade cake too! For over a decade, our gem of a plant sale is a known local favourite (Church Lane, Dry Sandford, OX13 6JP).

Join Us for an Evening of Music! On Friday, 6 March at 7:30pm the Cothill Choir will present a vibrant concert at St Helen’s Church, Dry Sandford. The programme celebrates music from across the church year, featuring uplifting works by J. S. Bach, Howard Goodall, César Franck, John Rutter, Jacques Offenbach, and Graham Howell.

Alongside the choral performances, enjoy beautiful instrumental solos on the harp, marimba, and cello, showcasing the talents of Cothill House musicians.

After the concert, complimentary refreshments will be served.

Admission is free, and we warmly welcome donations to support St Helen’s Church through a retiring collection.

We’d love to see you there for an evening of great music and support for our village church!

Let’s begin our Lenten journey meaningfully with Ash Wednesday Service, 18th February, 7:00pm and receive the sign of ashes as a reminder of God’s love and mercy.

Continue to take this Lent as a journey of listening, learning, and growing closer to God. Join us at the church for a special Lenten Course "Seeking God: The Way of St. Benedict" each Wednesday during lent (Wed 25th February - Wed 25th March), 7pm. Coffee served to start and we end with compline.

The course will be structured with reflection, discussion and learning on mindfulness during our busy lives based on the timeless teaching of St Benedict. We'll focus each week on different aspects such as humility, listening, community, work and prayer, and conversion of heart. It's free to join us at the church. You don't have to attend all of the sessions. Everyone welcome - those curious about Christianity and those seeking more time to reflect. You can register by messaging us or Just show up!
