Holy Week in accordance with the English Missal!

Passiontide is nearly here, when we remember the events of the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of the Lord - the most important events in all of history.

You are very welcome to join us at St John's as we once again celebrate these events, which won for us our salvation, in some of the most moving and beautiful ceremonies of the year.

Services at St John’s are mainly celebrated according to the English Missal and the Book of Common Prayer.

We adore thee, O Christ, and we bless thee, because by thy Holy Cross thou hast redeemed the world.

Thank you very much for hosting us! Ember Days are about praying for vocations and those preparing for Holy Orders so we were particularly glad to be able to celebrate with you in the Seminary.

The college was pleased to welcome members of the Oxford English Missal Society to sing Mass for the Ember Saturday in Lent.

People have been asking about Altar Cards. We're hoping in the future to run a Kickstarter to get some nice illustrated ones made, but in the meantime, we can offer you this:
The centre card is A3 and the two side cards A5.
