I am deeply saddened to announce that Bishop Andrew Watson has died at the age of 64. May he rest in peace and rise in glory. Praying for Beverly and the family and all others who are grieving his loss. 🙏

Today is boxing day, also called St Stephen's day. Stephen became the first martyr in the early church because he trusted in Jesus Christ as his Lord and saviour. That is phenomenal in itself. But perhaps more phenomenal was that the man orchestrating the ex*****on was a person called Rabbi Saul of Tarsus. This rabbi made it his mission to destroy the Christian faith and murder the followers of Jesus.
But God had other ideas and this staunch opponent of the early church was transformed by Christ on his way to Syria.
The point is this, do not rule out any person or situation from being transformed by the grace of God, because (as Saul himself later wrote)
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5v8)
