Whether it's a wedding or a baptism , a Sunday service or just to add to the day to day ambiance of St Michael's, we are ever grateful to our volunteer who arrange and ten the wonderful flowers in the church .

Throwback Thursday:

This time last year we took a peek behind a door that's normally swung open hiding the back. We said:

"Now enclosed within the rear vestibule, the north door, often overlooked, is dated 1753 and inscribed in relief with the initials EM and JR. These are probably the initials of John Morris of Blodwel and Edward Morris of Abertanat, 'probably' because they are listed as church wardens for the year 1751/2."

360 years ago today saw the outbreak of the Great Fire of London. Which serves as a reminder that smoking is not allowed in the St Michael's or anywhere within the churchyard.
