📣Thank You Thursday!🙏

A huge thank you to Holy Trinity Dromore for their faithful support of Fields of Life over many years.

More recently, the church has partnered with Ukemu Primary School in the Zombo District of Uganda’s West Nile region. This is an area that is often overlooked and can be difficult to reach, making their commitment even more significant.

Through generous giving and fundraising, Holy Trinity Dromore funded a new borehole and a girls’ toilet block at Ukemu PS. Previously, children had to walk down a steep gorge to collect water each day, but these two changes have helped create a safer and more dignified environment for the students.

These practical improvements are also bringing hope to the school community and creating opportunities for children to thrive.

Evangelical Alliance’s prayer for Northern Ireland:

Father, we pray for Northern Ireland following the violent attack in North Belfast.

Our hearts break over this crime.
We pray for the man who was attacked and for his family, healing and justice.
We thank you for those who intervened and pray for everyone impacted in the wider community and online.

We understand that many people will feel angry and some will want to protest lawfully.
We pray against rioting and the intimidation of people because of their skin colour or religion.
We pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ, our friends and neighbours from other places who live here.
Draw near to everyone who feels more vulnerable and unsafe today.

We thank you for a strong and united response from most political leaders.
We pray for wisdom for police and civic leaders.
We pray for your local church in the difficult task of testifying to your truth and grace.
In the days ahead, please create spaces for people to air concerns and address fears in respectful ways.

Lord, as ever we pray for your kingdom come, in Northern Ireland, as it is in Heaven. Amen.

Confirmation 2026

We had a brilliant day yesterday where we had 17 individuals declare their faith in Jesus at our Confirmation service.

It was great to have Bishop Ian along at our service, lead the confirmation and preach the sermon too.

Everyone enjoyed refreshments in the hall afterwards with a cake being cut too.
