Another farewell party!
Today it was the turn of our Afternoon Fellowship group to say thank you and good bye to Jonathan. The group presented Jonathan with gifts which included an apple tree for the manse in Dungannon. We enjoyed afternoon tea together and Jonathan brought a message from God’s Word. Thanks to this most faithful group in our church for their kindness and generosity. It has been my pleasure and privilege to have shared with this group every month over the past 13 years. A special word of thanks to Cheryl and her predecessor Sylvia for all their hard work in organising this meeting each month.

Today we concluded our bowls for this season. Thanks to everyone for the card and the gift set of bowls with the special logo. I will take the bowls to Dungannon with me as a reminder of the good times we enjoyed every Wednesday morning at our bowling club. We have a great club with great people who all look out for each other. Bowls will resume in September.
