We are sad to inform you of the passing of the daughter of the late *Said Akbar Khan* - Wife of *late Haaji Musa Khan*, mother of *Molana Yunus Khan, Asaf Khan and Mohsin Khan* of (village Waisa).

Alhamdulillāh, yesterday we had a truly beautiful and memorable End of Year Awards Ceremony at our Maktab (MTI).

We were deeply honoured to have our Masjid Ameer Sahib as our special guest, who kindly presented the awards and certificates to our students. It was heartwarming to see the joy on his face as he witnessed the achievements of the children, and even more touching were the sincere du‘ās he made for all our students, teachers, and volunteers.

Moments like these remind us that this is not just an event, but a continuation of a legacy. It is through the sacrifices, vision, and dedication of our elders that Allah ﷻ has blessed us with this Masjid and Maktab today. We are merely building upon the foundation they laid with sincerity and effort.

We ask Allah ﷻ to accept their efforts, to grant them the best of rewards, and to make it a means of Sadaqah Jāriyah for them. For those who are still with us, may Allah preserve them in good health and īmān, and for those who have returned to Him, may He grant them the highest stages of Jannah.

May Allah ﷻ continue to bless our Maktab & Masjid, our students, teachers, volunteers, and the entire community, and allow us all to remain steadfast upon this noble path.

Alhamdulillāh, our MTI students have now commenced their end-of-year Maktab assessments.

Today, they completed their written paper, which covered the subjects of Fiqh, Ahadith, Tarikh, and Adab. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and effort our students have shown throughout the year in preparing for these assessments.

We make duʿā that Allah (SWT) grants every student ease, confidence, and success in their examinations, blesses them with beneficial knowledge, and rewards their hard work with the results they deserve. May He increase them in understanding, sincerity, and love for His Dīn, and make them among those who practise and convey beneficial knowledge.

We kindly request all parents, families, and our community to keep our students in your duʿās throughout the assessment period.

May Allah (SWT) grant them all success in this life and the Hereafter.

Yesterday at MTI, we held a special assembly on the blessed month of Muharram. Students learned about the significance of Muharram as the beginning of the Islamic New Year, the important events associated with this sacred month, and the virtues and rewards of fasting, especially on the Day of Ashura.

The assembly also explored the Islamic lunar calendar and the solar calendar, helping students understand how months are calculated and the importance of time in our daily lives and religious observances.

In addition, students learned about the life and legacy of the second Caliph, Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA), reflecting on his justice, leadership, humility, and service to the Muslim community.

May Allah swt enable us all to benefit from the lessons of Muharram and follow the noble examples set by the righteous predecessors of Islam.

This Thursday at MTI, we dedicated two hours to a special assembly on the blessed month of Zul Hijjah, its virtues, and the significance of Hajj. Students learned in detail about the five days of Hajj, the inspiring story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), and how his sacrifice and devotion are closely linked to the purpose and objectives of performing Hajj. The session was both educational and reflective, helping students deepen their understanding of this important time in the Islamic calendar.

On Friday, students enjoyed a special takeout day with their classmates to mark the end of term before the Eid-ul-Adha holidays. Eid gift bags and sweet cones, organised by the staff at MTI, were distributed to all students, bringing smiles and excitement to the day.

Students have now broken up for the Eid-ul-Adha holidays, and we look forward to welcoming them back in one week’s time for another productive and successful term, InshaAllah.
