🌙Official Moonsighting Announcement -

In accordance with the official moonsighting for the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of Morocco, via the esteemed Official Time-Keeper of Fes, Morocco, the honourable Shaykh Abdul Salam al-Ijmili, the crescent moon for the month of Shawwal has been sighted.!

Thus in accordance with the dictates of our tradition we announce that Shawwal 1447 has commenced today after *Maghrib* on the 19th of March and the 20th March being the first “day” of Shawwal 1447 and the day of Eid!

We extended our prayers and well wishes to all on Eid ul-Fitr!

The crescent for Ramadhan 2025 has *NOT* been sighted anywhere in The UK, Morocco, or surrounding areas. Hence, this month of Sha'ban will conclude with 30 days and

*Sunday 2nd of March will be 1st fast of Ramadhan and tomorrow [Saturday] evening will be the 1st Taraweeh prayer*at 8pm at Dar- UL- Islam Jamia Muhammedia

Allah عز و جل grant all Muslims a prosperous and rewarding Ramadhan. Ameen.

Haji Mohammed Azram sahib (Landseer Street, Oldham / Village Balathi, Dhok Dingwar Tehsil Dadyal District Mirpur-Azad Kashmir) sadly left this temporary abode on Thursday 30 January 2025.
