Death Announcement

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon (To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return).

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of the respected mother of the late Bank Manager Muhammad Zafid (Trhaka) and the late Muhammad Khurshid and Hajji Muhammad Rashid Trhaka Pardowal, aunt of Muhammad Najib (Manchester) grandmother of Haseeb, Jameel, Nabeel, Amar, Adeel (late) Junaid and Danyal.

⚠️ COMMUNITY ALERT ⚠️

An elderly lady was robbed of her gold outside the Madina Mosque & Islamic Centre, Clydesdale Street, Coppice, Oldham. The offenders a female in a headscarf approached her pretending to offer jewellery for sale, then took the gold she was wearing.

Please be aware:

• Do NOT engage with anyone offering unsolicited jewellery for sale
• ⁠
• Do NOT approach or stop to talk to people you don’t know, especially if you are alone
• ⁠
• Be extra mindful of elderly family members and neighbours, please pass this message on to them

Vehicle to look out for: *Blue Mercedes A-Class, reg LT59 CTV*

If you see this vehicle or anyone acting suspiciously, please do NOT approach them. Call 999 if a crime is in progress, or 101 to report information.
