Arabic morphology, a cornerstone of Islamic learning, unlocks the intricacies of Qur’anic language, Hadith, and classical texts. A deep study of this science has been an essential element of any scholarship program.

At Greengate Islamic College, we place great emphasis on core subjects such as Sarf. Our principal, Shaykh Zulfiqar Haidar Pirzada Al-Azhari, teaches one of the most comprehensive books on Arabic Morphology, Ilm-us Seegha, to all 1st Year Dars-i Nizami students daily.

This excellent Persian text, written by M***i Inayat Ahmad, offers students an invaluable opportunity to deepen their understanding of Arabic structure and grammar.

Naḥw Mīr holds significant importance for students of Dars-i Niẓāmī, especially those pursuing further Islamic studies. This classical foundation text in the Persian language is a concise and structured introduction to Arabic syntax. Mastering its content provides a strong grammatical foundation, enabling students to:

• Understand the roles of words in sentences (subject, predicate, objects, etc.).
• Recognize grammatical inflections, which are crucial for determining the meaning of Arabic texts.
• Read and comprehend classical and modern Arabic texts accurately.
