🌹 A BLESSED GATHERING IN LOVE OF RASULULLAH ﷺ 🌹

Alhamdulillah, we warmly invite all brothers and sisters to a blessed gathering celebrating the birth of our Beloved Messenger ﷺ, In the honour of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq رضي الله عنه and commemorating the legacy of Grand Shaykh Khwaja Sufi Muhammad Aslam رحمه الله.

BROTHERS' GATHERING

Held in the blessed presence of:

The programme will include Qur'anic recitation, inspiring speeches in English and Urdu, and a beautiful Qasidah medley.

SISTERS' GATHERING

A separate gathering will take place in the Masjid Cabin in the presence of Qibla Mai Sahiba, featuring Khatam-e-Khwajgan, Dhikr, Qasidah Burdah, speeches and Na'at.

🍽️ Food will be served following the gatherings.

We sincerely encourage everyone to attend with their families and loved ones and benefit from this beautiful opportunity to strengthen our love for Rasulullah ﷺ, his noble Companions and the blessed Awliya of Allah.

𝙇𝙊𝙑𝙀 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙎𝘼𝙔𝙔𝙄𝘿𝙐𝙉𝘼 𝘼𝙇𝙄 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘼𝙃𝙇 𝘼𝙇-𝘽𝘼𝙔𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝘼𝙏 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙏 𝙊𝙁 𝘼𝙃𝙇 𝘼𝙇-𝙎𝙐𝙉𝙉𝘼𝙃 𝙒𝘼'𝙇-𝙅𝘼𝙈𝘼'𝘼𝙃

The love of Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه and the blessed Ahl al-Bayt is deeply rooted in the hearts of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah. It is an inseparable part of our Iman and a defining feature of our Aqidah.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said regarding Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه: “None but a believer loves me, and none but a hypocrite hates me.”

These words alone should be enough to remind us of the immense status of Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ himself makes love for Ali a sign of faith and hatred towards him a sign of hypocrisy, how can any Muslim take his love lightly?

The love of Sayyiduna Ali, Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra, Imam Hasan, Imam Husayn and the entire blessed Ahl al-Bayt does not belong exclusively to any one sect or group, but it has always been an essential part of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah.

This love has been passed down through generations, taught by our scholars, instilled in us by our elders and preserved in the hearts of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah. It is a love we have inherited with pride, upheld with conviction and will continue to pass on to future generations.
Our love for the Ahl al-Bayt has always been part of our faith, our identity and our tradition, and it will remain so until the end of time. We must never allow anyone to question, diminish or misrepresent this our creed.

And for anyone who wishes to understand just how deeply this love runs through our tradition, they need only turn to the words of Ala Hazrat, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi رحمه الله.

When the Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi رحمه الله, raised his pen in praise of the blessed household of Rasulullah ﷺ, he beautifully expressed the deep love and reverence that we hold for the Ahl al-Bayt. In his celebrated Salam, the great Imam pays a tribute to Sayyiduna Ali and the Ahl al-Bayt.

Our love for the Ahl al-Bayt does not mean that we love the Sahabah any less. Likewise, our love for the Sahabah has never meant that we should overlook or diminish the greatness of the Ahl al-Bayt. The Sahabah are our honour. The Ahl al-Bayt are our honour. Their love is part of our faith.

There is no contradiction in loving them all. In fact, this is the beauty of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah: we honour the noble Companions and cherish the blessed family of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ without setting one against the other.

May Allah keep our hearts forever filled with sincere love for His Beloved Messenger ﷺ, the Sahabah and the Ahl al-Bayt. May Allah grant us the honour of living and dying upon the true Aqidah of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah. Ameen Ya Rabb al-Alameen.

“TODAY, WE STAND AT SOMEONE ELSE’S FUNERAL… TOMORROW, OTHERS WILL STAND AT OURS.”

A Powerful Reminder by Allama Syed Atta Ullah Shah Bukhari Sahib at a Funeral Gathering

How often do we neglect the rights of our fellow Muslims? How many times do we fail to visit someone who is ill, or miss a funeral prayer, thinking we will make up for it another day?

During a funeral, Allama Syed Atta Ullah Shah Bukhari Sahib delivered a deeply moving reminder about the rights of one Muslim over another, reflecting upon the beautiful teachings of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Shah Sahib particularly emphasised the importance of visiting the sick and attending funeral prayers, reminding us of the profound Hadith in which Allah will say on the Day of Judgement:

“O son of Adam, I was ill, but you did not visit Me.”

When the servant asks how Allah, the Lord of the worlds, could ever be ill, Allah will remind him that one of His servants was ill, yet he failed to visit him.

Shah Sahib went on to deliver a powerful message about attending funerals:

“We should not attend funeral prayers out of fear of offending people or maintaining social relationships. Rather, we should attend with the fear of Allah Almighty in our hearts.”

A reminder that attending a funeral is not merely a social obligation, but an act of worship, a responsibility towards our fellow Muslims and an opportunity to seek the pleasure and reward of Allah Almighty.

Today, we have the opportunity to visit the sick, attend funerals, fulfil the rights of others and seek Allah's forgiveness. Tomorrow, that opportunity may no longer exist.

Let us not wait until death reaches our doorstep before we begin taking our responsibilities seriously

May Allah Almighty purify our intentions, soften our hearts, enable us to fulfil the rights of His creation and grant us the wisdom to prepare for our final journey before our time comes. Ameen

CONTINUING THE SPIRIT OF RABI UL AWWAL ❤️

Alhamdulillah, throughout the blessed month of Rabi ul Awwal, our community came together to celebrate the birth of the Best of Creation, our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, through an act beloved in Islam — feeding others.

Every Saturday, we went out and distributed freshly prepared food and drinks to the homeless, the needy and anyone who needed a meal — regardless of their religion, background or creed.

Over the four Saturdays, around 500 meals were served. Alhamdulillah.

But why should this beautiful act of service end with Rabi ul Awwal?

As a Masjid and as a community, we want to make this a regular weekly effort, serving those in need every Saturday evening, Insha’Allah.

Following our announcement after Jumu’ah, the response from the congregation was amazing. From next Saturday, Insha’Allah, we will be out again continuing this noble work.

❤️ HELP US MAKE THIS A WEEKLY COMMITMENT

We are asking members of our community who are able to support this initiative by setting up a standing order of £10 per week or £10 every fortnight.

These regular contributions will help us plan ahead and purchase the food, drinks and other essentials required for each Saturday’s distribution.

Your contribution can be given with the intention of Sadaqah — seeking the pleasure of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, helping those in need and seeking His protection from hardships and calamities.
