Hi Everyone,

Under the Care of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, The Church of the Holy Family is to delighted to announce St Mark Universal Care’s Summer Youth Mission Trip in Egypt 🇪🇬

The Mission trip will be from 11th August to 21st August 2024 ✈️

Location: Archangel Michael Monastery in Nagada

Accommodation is full board and all you have to do is just book your flight tickets! 🥳

Age : Must be 16 +

Theme: Serve & Rejoice

The Service: On our summer trip we encourage volunteers to spend time supporting underprivileged children by organising games and activities in their communities. We also visit elderly homes and disability centres.

Our main service is to help those children In need by teaching them English via an approved curriculum, as one way of improving their life chances and opportunities 🙏

Good evening everyone. As we say a big thank you to Father Stefanos for his service for the past few weeks we also want to welcome Father Solomon and his wife Marian who will be arriving on Friday 13/10/23 and staying with us for a period of 4 weeks. They will be undertaking a series of Christian Life Coaching Lectures and Workshops every Saturday for Youth and adults following the morning liturgy. The first Saturday will focus on Stress Management. On the Sundays there will be a Kids Spiritual Program following the Liturgy. Hope to see you there. 😊

Chris Fouad here: Hey guys, I’m happy to announce the start of the Convent Volleyball team. Every Monday we’ll be holding classes to build foundations from scratch with the end goal of forming a team to compete in the league. We’re going to be starting with Mondays and seeing what the turn out is like. However, we are more than happy to pick a different day if it works better for people. We’re hoping to ultimately have two sessions a week, one for basic training and drills, and one for game experience where we will do mock games and even play friendly games with other teams. We hope to see you there!

Dearest Congregation,

For the next three weeks Father Stephanos will be praying with us at the Holy Family Church in Oldham. Below is the timetable of the liturgies and Sunday school.

Liturgies:
Saturday: 16/09/23 (9.30am-12pm)

Sunday: 17/09/23 (9.30am-12pm)

After the liturgy on Saturday will have the Sunday school programme from 1pm-3pm which consists of Sunday school class for the children, hymns lesson and games for fun.
Abouna Stefanous will also give the Adults a spiritual talk.
