Deer Parish Church of Scotland Deer Parish Church of Scotland is located in Old Deer Aberdeenshire Scotland. The Church is located at the eastern edge of Old Deer Village, Aberdeenshire.

Deer Parish Church of Scotland is a later replacement of medieval original, the remains of which stand directly behind the church to the east. The Church was built in the 18th century with numerous phases of alterations and additions which included the building of the large tower on the south west corner in the 1880's a hundred years after the church opened. The church is nearby historic Deer Ab

bey which is famous for the 'Book of Deer'. Deer Parish Church is open each Sunday for Sunday morning service at 10.30am all welcome, plus during summer open on Sunday afternoons to visitors and a cup of tea.

The church will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and after church on Sunday until 4pm.

Learn about the history of the church, the generations of people who have worshiped here and its continuing place in our community. We will also be detailing the extensive work which has been carried out recently, and our plans for continued improvement.

Teas, coffees, homebakes available all day.

Entry is free, but donations are welcomed.
