‘It’s Not Just Policy, It’s Personal’ is a campaign running to raise awareness of how to recognise and report safeguarding concerns.

Resources are available to churches and church groups with the aim of building confidence in responding and taking appropriate action.

Safeguarding guidance and codes of conduct are statutory and must always be followed – but this campaign reminds us that at the centre of every safeguarding concern is a person, who has taken the difficult step of disclosing harm or risk.

Creating a safe space for people to report, and how we respond to them, matters.

🌟 Volunteers’ Week Spotlight 🌟

Today we’re celebrating one of our longest-standing volunteers – Lucy, and the incredible team at St Margaret's, Old Catton💛

Since partnering with us in 2017, Lucy has been there from the very beginning, faithfully and consistently showing up for every tenant she supports.

Whether it’s helping with appointments, shopping trips, or simply sharing a coffee and a chat ☕, Lucy brings warmth, kindness, and a heart for people.

Lucy and the team, Linda, Belinda & David do more than just support their tenants. They build lasting friendships that go far beyond their time with Hope into Action. From welcome gifts on day one, to remembering birthdays and delivering Christmas presents, the team truly help people feel at home in their new community 🏡

We are so thankful (and honestly, incredibly blessed 🙏) to have such an amazing team at St Margaret’s. Every single one of you makes a difference.
