Lord's Day 6th September 2026

We look forward to celebrating the Lord's Supper together at our 11am service. As usual we will have our evening service at 6.30pm in the church hall and on Zoom to enable those in Mull, Coll and Tiree to join us. (Note the new Zoom link in the email).

To help us think about what we are doing when we share Communion, and to help us prepare, there will be a service tonight at 7.30pm. Anyone desiring to come into membership can meet with the Elders at 7pm before the service.

Next Lord's Day (13th) we look forward to celebrating the Lord's Supper in Mull - 11am at Tobermory Free Church on Main Street.

Lord's Day 30th August 2026

We'll be continuing our studies in the Psalms with Psalm 7 in the morning at 11am, and in the evening Phil Coghill will be preaching at 6.30pm in the hall and on Zoom.

This Wednesday being the first of the month, we will be on Zoom at 7.30pm.

See below a link to the 'Arise Africa' petition for people to sign. This is a petition to get the United Nations and the governments across Europe and the UK in particular to recognise the persecution of Chrisitans in several African nations and to commit to doing something about it.

A paper copy will also be available to sign at the church too:

We very much look forward to having a visitor from Open Doors UK & Ireland at the midweek meeting in November, but the petition needs to be submitted before then.

What is going on? Thousands of Christians are killed every year in Nigeria and surrounding countries in Africa.95 percent of Christians killed for their faith in 2023 died in sub-Saharan Africa. Of the 20 countries where Christians are most violently persecuted, 13 are in this region. The brutal vio...

A bit more about one of our speakers for next month's conference ✨

We're excited to hear from Mairi Smith at our When Strivings Cease conference in Smithton on the 12th of September. During the conference, herself and Cathy Steed will be unpacking the theme of rest.

Mairi lives in Aberdeen where she teaches and trains women at a weekly bible study class through Bible Study Fellowship. She is a member of Deeside Christian Fellowship and is part of their church plant, Hope Church Torry. Having grown up in Skye, Mairi spent time in Edinburgh as a student and lawyer before the family moved to Aberdeen. Mairi is married to Peter and together they have three boys aged 12, 14 and 16 as well as two little girl dogs. When not feeding, exercising or training boys/dogs Mairi loves reading, being outdoors and (slow!) running.

Tickets are available via our website: womenformission.org/conference-2026/
