The Filling Station - Oban & Lorn

We had such a powerful evening of worship and ministry last night at our June gathering. It was good to come and, as it says in Psalm 34,
“exalt his name together.”

It was great to welcome Chris White and his crew from Fife. Chris challenged us on how thirsty we are for God, and highlighted our need for water - because without water there is no power, and no fruit. It was such an encouraging reminder of the need to connect daily with God in deeper ways.

We're taking a break for 'summer' but we can't wait to be in the room together again in August.

We come to our Filling Station gatherings expectant that we will encounter the Holy Spirit, and praying for people is part of the overflow of this. So we love it when we hear of answered prayers. These testimonies are witness to God's awesome power, and are such an encouragement.

So we were delighted when someone got in touch to share their story of God's healing after May's gathering:

"I have had a bad left shoulder for many years which has restricted the movement in that arm. Particularly, lifting my left arm in worship has been painful for a long time.

Two ladies prayed for me at the end of the May meeting.

Since that moment, I have had no significant pain in my left shoulder. The increase in mobility appears to be step by step, and I know that God is not going to start something which he's not able to finish, so at each step, I am praying for complete and full healing in my shoulder."

Praise the Lord. 😊

The power of praise and worship was the message brought by Craig Mackay Tfs last night
Looking at the sacrificial of life of King David and Abraham and inviting us to be a unique gathering of worshippers who are awake to what our sung worship does in the physical and spiritual realms

We raised the roof in worship, heard testimonies of joy and healing and saw renewal of faithful believers before our very eyes! - thank You Lord!

****** LAUNCH NIGHT PRAISE REPORT*****

Thank you friends and thank You Lord!!!… for blessing this first gathering of The Filling Station in Oban & Lorn.

So wonderful to share this moment and space with folks from so many churches and visitors from other parts of Scotland.

Our worship team, brought together by folks from different churches, led us beautifully in worship and in intimate times of prayer, ministry and declaration and spiritual song.

A huge thanks to our guest Alan McWilliam who shared scripture and insight on the Father’s heart and inviting us to step into a new season of recognising our adopted position with our Father God.

As your new FS team we pray that we can serve our community with the encouragement of Acts 3, 6-8 - “Gold and silver I do not have not but this I give you”

We look forward to serving the local church and the community with the transforming power of God to save, to heal to renew.

LAUNCH NIGHT! - The Filling Station in Oban & Lorn - Sat 18th April 2026!

We are so excited to bring this adventure to the west coast of Scotland to compliment and bless what the churches of the community are already doing here and to bring folks together every month in unity!

Filling Station gatherings are nights of determined encounter with Holy Spirit, where signs wonders and miracles follow the teaching of God's Word and in line with His Word.
There will be food, live worship from a collective of local worship teams and our guest speaker McWilliam from Movement.

Alan currently leads The Cairn Movement and Forge Scotland and his an ordained minister in the Church of Scotland with a long history of church planting and leadership development.
He led the former CLAN gathering for many years and is a much sought after teacher by all Filling Station teams in Scotland - always scriptural, always revelatory and always transformative!
