Everyone belongs to a club they'd rather not talk about....

This Sunday, discover "The Fellowship of the Withered Hand" and why the very thing we try hardest to hide may be the place where Christ wants to meet us most 🙏

10.30am at Oban Parish Church.

We'll also celebrate Communion together as we gather around the Lord's Table.

We would love to see you there ❤️

Three lives. Three encounters. One Jesus.

A man whose hand had withered.

A criminal with only hours left to live.

A disciple who thought he had failed beyond repair.

Three very different people...
Three impossible situations...
Three lives transformed by grace...

This June, journey with us as we explore stories of healing, forgiveness, restoration and hope.

Because the truth is, these aren't just their stories....

They're ours too.

Perhaps you know what it feels like to be broken.
Perhaps you carry regrets.
Perhaps you're wondering if God still has a purpose for your life.

Come and discover the One who still changes lives.

Three Lives Changed by Jesus.

Come and hear for yourself....❤️

🚍 500 Miles for Oban Parish Church! 🚍

Two of our congregation members, Ian and Brian, along with Skye the Westie, are setting off on a remarkable challenge this June.

Over the course of 22nd–23rd June 2026, they will travel more than 500 miles around parts of Scotland using only buses, all to raise funds for Oban Parish Church and help support the repairs and improvements to our church building.

This promises to be quite an adventure, with plenty of miles, early starts, bus journeys, and hopefully a lot of fun along the way!

We are incredibly grateful to Ian and Brian for taking on this challenge in support of our church. If you see updates from the journey, please give them a like, share, and some encouragement as they travel.

Every mile travelled will help support the ongoing work and ministry of Oban Parish Church, helping to ensure our building remains at the heart of the community for generations to come.

Please join us in wishing Ian, Brian and Skye every success as they embark on their 500-mile adventure! 🐾🚌

Hi, my name is Ian, and together with my husband, Brian, and our Westie, Skye, we are doing a 500-mile tour of parts… IAN DYER needs your support for SKYE 500

🎶 NEW THIS SUNDAY! 🎶

Before worship begins this Sunday, why not “Step Into Sunday” with us?

From 10:00am–10:15am, as people arrive in the sanctuary, we’ll be enjoying some favourite Sunday School songs – old and new – complete with the actions!

Don’t worry, this isn’t an exercise class and there’s no pressure to join in. Simply take part as much or as little as you wish from the comfort of your pew.

There are real benefits too:

✅ Gentle movement helps loosen stiff muscles and joints
✅ Improves balance and mobility
✅ Helps reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls
✅ Encourages wellbeing and social connection
✅ Helps us arrive relaxed and ready for worship

🙏Something new is coming to the prayer life of Oban Parish Church 🙏

Our current Tuesday morning prayer gatherings will conclude on Tuesday 16th June as we take a break over the summer months.

When we return at the end of August, a new 'Prayer Room' will begin within the church sanctuary, inspired by the vision and creativity of the 24-7 Prayer movement.

Each Tuesday morning, the church will be open for prayer, reflection and stillness from 9.30am until 11.00am, with a guided time of prayer together taking place between 10.15am and 10.45am.

This will be more than simply a meeting...…

The sanctuary will become a peaceful and welcoming space where people can pause, pray, reflect on Scripture, sit in silence, pray for the world, or simply come and be still for a while ❤️

There will also be space for people to pray together, share prayer concerns, and seek God alongside one another as a church family.

Charles Spurgeon once referred to prayer as the “boiler room” of the church — the unseen place where power was generated for everything else that took place. He believed the strength of the church did not begin in the pulpit, the music, or the programmes, but in prayer.

So as we look to the future, we believe the same remains true today. Prayer is not simply another activity within church life, but the foundation upon which the church grows.

You do not need to pray out loud.
You do not need to have the “right words.”
You are welcome to come exactly as you are.

In a busy and noisy world, our hope is to create a quiet and sacred space in the heart of Oban where people can encounter peace, hope and the presence of God.

More details will follow over the summer, but we are excited about this new chapter in the prayer life of our church and we invite you to come along.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

You are warmly invited to the final meeting of our Guild for this Session.

Join us on Thursday 4th June at 2pm in the Church Centre as we gather together for an afternoon of friendship, fellowship & conversation before the summer break.

Whether you are a regular attender or have never been along before, you would be made most welcome👍

Before there was anything… there was God.

This Sunday, Oban Parish Church (10.30am), we gather for worship on Trinity Sunday as we reflect on the opening words of Scripture:

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

Join us as we explore Genesis 1:1–4 and the God who speaks light into darkness, hope into chaos, and life into creation itself.

Worship led by our minister, Rev Alex MacCallum.

A warm welcome awaits all ❤️
