Ilkeston Church of Nazarene Ilkeston Church Of Nazarene aims to help people, within the community, reach their full potential through using biblical principles.

Ilkeston Church of the Nazarene is a growing community of people who meet on a Sunday. We are lead and taught by local minister Helen Chesters. We use a mixture of contemporary and traditional worship and present biblical truths in an up to date and relevant teaching style. We are an outward looking church and provide a warm welcome to anyone who comes to our service or activities. We believe that

God is a divine healer and have had many answers to our prayers. We run a variety of activities throughout the week to support and work within the local community. In the activities we aim to meet the needs of people and improve their lifestyles. We are continually looking to build our team of workers and volunteers, we believe that we are helping to build a strong community both in the church and within the wider community. Ilkeston Church of the Nazarene is part of a worldwide organisation.

Hello Everyone,

It is with great sadness that after 78 years in Ilkeston that the Church of the Nazarene will be closing its doors for Sunday services. The last service will be held on Sunday 14th May at 4.30pm, everybody is welcome. There is also a Down memory lane event being held on the Saturday 13th May between 10am and 12 noon. This will involve many collections of photographs, newspaper articles and other memorabilia of our time in Ilkeston. However, if anyone has anything they would like to be added to this collection you can drop them off on the 12th between 9am and 1pm or bring them along to the event on the 13th. Although the Sunday service will be closing, the toddler group which is held here on Thursdays and Fridays will still take place. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have had any connection with the church in its 78 years in Ilkeston. You have helped us to continue to thrive within the community.
