Our 10.30am service this Sunday will be Holy Communion.
The service will be led by Rev Lesley Silcock. Jonathan Julian will be preaching. Rev Clive Burrows will preside at Communion.

We will be continuing our theme of the Nicene Creed.

There will be groups for children during this service. Prayer Ministry will also be available.
All welcome.

Last year was the 1700 year anniversary of the Nicene Creed, which we still sometimes say in church.

To mark the occasion we are going to look at each phrase week by week starting from Trinity Sunday all the way through to the start of Advent

The Hope Service,
taking place on Monday 29th June at 11am
in the Archbishop’s Palace Gardens at Southwell Minster.

This short outdoor service will offer a gentle space to pause, reflect, and remember all those who live with the impact of trauma. It forms part of the national campaign, “It’s not policy, it’s personal”, reminding us that safeguarding and trauma-informed practice are rooted not only in guidance, but in people and lived experience.

The service will include a simple act of planting seeds together — a visible sign of our shared commitment to growing a more trauma-informed culture across our churches, ministries, and communities.

Your presence would be greatly valued. It is an opportunity to stand alongside others across the diocese and in our communities who have lived experience of trauma. Coming together in this way is an important expression of our collective responsibility and commitment to ensuring our church is a safe, compassionate, and responsive place for all.

Refreshments will be available afterwards, offering time to connect informally.
