Pasticceria Lorena I am a Nottingham-based Italian pastry chef with a passion for Italian cakes and patisserie Go on....you know you want to!!

As a self-taught baker of Italian descent I am trying to bring something new to Nottingham. I am passionate about Italian pastries and cakes known as pasticcini. I remember eating them on Sundays with my famiglia in Italy and they were the most anticipated treat of the week. Delicious miniature cakes and pastires full of decadent Italian flavours such as coffee and amaretto, chocolate and hazelnut

and vanilla liquors. I am convinced you the public will love these as much as I do and hope to entice you into placing an order for a dinner party, special occasion or event.

Ciao tutti!

I am back after the most incredible trip to beautiful Croatia 🇭🇷

My heart is so full after spending the week with my wonderful university friends, over 30 years of friendship celebrated in our 50th year. Sun, crystal clear sea, prosecco, incredible food and lots of fun! What a blessing to be able to call these ladies my friends and enjoy their company as much now as I did when we first met!

I am now so very ready to give my all to the weddings ahead and create some incredible dessert tables and cakes for my couples!

Bring it on!! ❤️🙌🏻

Join me in a fun and informative Italian patisserie masterclass and learn how to make classic ‘Crostatine di Frutta’ Italian fruit tarts.

You learn how to master the techniques of the pastry, how to achieve the perfect crema pasticcera as well as how to bake, fill and decorate them like a Pro!

You then get to take away these perfect summer desserts, along with a branded apron and a full recipe card so you can enjoy the treats at home and also make them time and time again!

This masterclass will take place in the beautiful surroundings on ‘Savour’ an artisan cafe and chocolate studio in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

Congratulations to Nattasha & Giuseppe who married over the bank holiday weekend at

Their wedding was a beautiful fusion of Greek and Italian traditions and touches.

This is a before and after of their dessert table of 360 Pasticcini in 6 varieties. I barely finished setting it up before the guests were eager to dive in!

Thank you to for the beautiful bud vases that added a touch of elegance to the finished set up. Classic, simple, allowing the desserts to speak for themselves.

Huge congratulations to and Oscar who got married on Easter Sunday at the uber cool in Sheffield.

They came to me super excited to have found someone to make their dream Italian Millefoglie Wedding cake. They chose Pistachio flavour and I stayed to serve it to the happy couple and their guests during their drinks reception.

I had quite an audience as I constructed it live but even more so when I began serving it! So wonderful to see everyone enjoying it and even coming back for seconds!

Thank you Jess and Oscar for trusting me to create your special wedding cake! It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of your special day. Wishing you a fabulous honeymoon! ❤️

I am back from my girlie trip to Amsterdam. What a great city! So much to see and do. Highlights were definitely to see the gorgeous tulips and the canals and lanes are filled with gorgeous eateries, bars and boutiques.

If you get to visit, I highly recommend .ams in the Jordaan area whose pastries are incredible! 👌🏻
Top notch pizza from .amsterdam who very rightly charge people who ask for pineapple a very sizeable premium 😂 Those Italians amongst you will know relevance of this pizzeria’s name.

The museums are also worth a visit, was full of great contemporary art.

Thank you for being my holiday buddy and we missed you

In case you are wondering no I didn’t try a space cake, I am too old for that malarkey but watch to the end to see Amsterdam’s idea of cake decorating……ps warning cheeky content 🤭🫣😂😉
