भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि। धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात॥ The Nottingham Hindu Temple & Community center was found in early 70's.

We are an open, friendly & welcoming center. The temple includes a great community hall which houses nearly weekly events, the Hindu Youth Group, Yoga classes, Luncheon clubs, Kala Niketan Hindi school, Birthday/Anniversary/Wedding celebrations, cultural programs, festival celebrations... to name a few! The Temple's Opening Hours are:

Mon-Sat: (Thursday Closed)
9:00 am - 11:30 am,
6:00 pm - 8:30

Sun: 9:00 am - 2pm, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Hindu temple Social Club With chair based exercises 11.30am - 12.30pm ,Hot tasty vegetarian meals served every Friday at 12.30 pm. Saturday- Kala Niketan Hindi School ( school term every Saturday 10- 1 pm)

Vichar Manthan Last Saturday of Month 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Bhajan Sandhya Every Sunday 11 am followed by Preeti Bhojan at 1 pm

Ashtami honors Maa Mahagauri, representing purity and serenity, while Ram Navami celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, symbolizing the victory of righteousness. These sacred days offer a powerful opportunity for devotees to seek divine blessings and participate in community prayers.

You and your family are warmly invited to join us for Mata Ki Chowki during the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri.

Chaitra Navratri marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year and is dedicated to the worship of Maa Durga in her nine divine forms. These nine days symbolize the victory of good over evil, inner purification, strength, and spiritual growth. It is a time to seek blessings for health, prosperity, and peace while strengthening devotion and positivity in our lives.

Program Details:
Mata Ki Chowki and Bhajans followed by Maa Ka Bhandara

26th March 2026 – Ashtami and Ram Navami (Maa Mahagauri)

The Hindu Temple Cultural & Community Centre, Nottingham warmly invites you and your family to a special spiritual gathering for the recitation of Hanuman Bahuk, being organised for the first time in Nottingham.

Hanuman Bahuk is a powerful and revered prayer composed by Goswami Tulsidas in deep devotion to Hanuman. It is traditionally recited for healing, protection, removal of suffering, and for strength and success in life. Devotees believe that sincere recitation invokes Lord Hanuman’s blessings for physical and spiritual well-being.
