Several of our parishioners will be participating in the diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes from 13-17 July 2026. They will take with them any prayer petitions to Our Lady of Lourdes from our parishioners and will ensure they are placed at the Grotto. If you have any petitions you’d like to be taken to Lourdes, please place them by no later than Sunday, 5th July in the boxes available at the back of the Good Shepherd and St Anthony’s Churches. Envelopes are available to ensure confidentiality is respected.

There's a second collection at all our Masses on 20/21 June for the 'Day for Life'. This collection funds the work of the Catholic Church in England & Wales in promoting and protecting human life, from conception to natural death. Please be as generous as you can. Thank you.🙏

Our next friendship group meeting is Thursday 18 June, at 2pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Notts (NG5 4HT) and we have East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) popping over to chat about life saving and to teach us CPR. Entry £4 including raffle, tea/coffee, cake/biscuits. Everyone welcome ❤️

There's a second collection at all our Masses this coming weekend towards the debt our parish will shortly incur when we begin work in repairing the defective concrete affecting our church building. The latest estimate for this work exceeds £700K, so we rely on your usual generosity. Thanks as always.

Volunteers’ Week is an annual UK-wide campaign held from the first Monday in June to celebrate and recognise the contributions of volunteers.

Launched in 1984, this initiative has been running for over 40 years.
