Today let’s pray for all our children and young people starting back to school.

Loving Father
We pray for all our young people at the beginning of a new school year. Help us to trust you with their next step.

For those moving to secondary schools we pray that their first day will be successful and that they will know God’s presence with them.

For all our children starting school for the first time, or moving into new classes, we pray that they will have a positive year, that they will carry Jesus light, secure his love for them. May they shine brightly!

For the teachers in our church family bless them with grace, knowledge and wisdom.

And for parents - help us to celebrate the good and grant us the right words to say when wobbles come. May we work well with our local schools and teachers.

For the glory of God,

As we move towards our August break, we’d like to thank all our church family - across the Benefice - who volunteer of their time and energy in so many ways.
We are thank God for you and praise Him for He has done in our Benefice this last year.
Please be assured that we will be praying over the summer for all the church family, that you’ll know His love, joy and peace.

A huge thank you to Esther Sheardown and all her family and friends who made last Sunday's art exhibition fundraiser such a brilliant success. Over £1000 was raised by the sterling efforts of all involved and those who donated. All proceeds will support St Helena Church and Community Space , Thoroton.
