The world called him the "Greatest of All Times."

He had world famous fame, incredible wealth, and a history changing legacy.

But when Muhammad Ali looked back at his life, instead of pointing to his fame, wealth or awards, he pointed to his faith. He famously said, "I asked Allah for wealth, He gave me Islam."

Uncovering the stories of Black Muslims Who Fought Racism & Slavery

All through October, we are sharing the powerful stories of the Black Muslims who changed the world, stood up to unfair treatment, and proved that Islam treats everyone as equals.

From Hazrat Bilal (RA) to big names like Mansa Musa, Malcolm X, and Muhammad Ali, this month, long series will show how faith and fighting for justice always go together.

History made. Alhamdulillah. 🏆

Prof. Dr. Musharraf Hussain OBE, DL has become the first Muslim recipient of the prestigious Nottingham Award, recognised at a ceremony at Nottingham Castle on 1st October 2026, in the award's 13th year.

One of only three recipients this year. A milestone for him, and for every Muslim in this city.

Mabrook, Dr. Musharraf. We couldn't be prouder. 🤍

May Allah bless him, his family, and grant barakah in all that he does. Ameen.
