Plans are starting to come together for the EMBA Annual Gathering on Saturday 20th June 2026. We're delighted that Nick Allan, Director of the St Hild Centre for Baptist Ministry, has agreed to come and speak and we're thinking about optional seminars for the afternoon.

Our friends at The Well in Retford are thinking through the logistics of a crowd gathering to worship, prayer, learn and meet friends, and the EMBA team are working out all the details.

Signup opens on 24th April but save the date for now, and keep your eye on the EMBA website

Baptist Union Council is meeting today and tomorrow to discuss and discern the broad strategic direction of our Baptist family.

Let's be praying for them as they meet, especially for the Moderator, Rev Rob May, and Sharon Howe and Mark Clay who attend on behalf of the EMBA.

The baptismal pool at Bourne Baptist Church in Lincolnshire will be filled up this weekend ready to celebrate new creation with three people who have decided to follow Jesus.

Shepshed Baptist will also be baptising someone.
