Our new resource, Connect, is perfect for use as a Bible study with youth groups. It is a fun way to discover the Bible and explore your faith among like-minded people, as well as sharing friendship and fellowship together.

BUT ... Did you know it can also be used by those new in faith to help them learn more about the Bible, ask questions and get to know other church members. It is a great resource to use with people who are new in your church and just setting out on their faith journey, whatever their age.

It can also be used with older members, as a fun way for them to engage in different ways with the Bible to help deepen their understanding.

The Knitted Bible Exhibition is open after school today and there are some knitting activities for families with more available On the Steps on Saturday 10-11.30am.

Faith in Later Life has launched Flourishing Faith in Later Life, a free six-session discipleship resource designed to help older believers grow in faith, hope and purpose.

Flourishing Faith in Later Life. A group resource for older believers. Logo for Faith in Later LIfe. Illustration shows a tree with a heart at its centre.Flourishing Faith in Later Life is designed for use in home groups, church fellowships and care-home settings. It guides leaders and participants through Bible-based conversations about identity in Christ, prayer and devotion, disillusionment, the hope of heaven, lifelong purpose, and sharing faith with others.

The resource includes both a leader’s guide and a participant guide and is free to download from the Faith in Later Life website.

I had the most amazing week at the European Conference on Christian Education (ECCE)in Switzerland. There were 90 people representing their church and their organization across Europe who were all passionate about Children's ministry.
The theme of the Assembly was " Hearing the voice- Religion and Children's right which helped us explore the rights of children from a faith perspective. The UK and Ireland delegation was represented by the URC, Messy Church & BRF the Methodist church, Church of England, Anglican church, Church of Ireland, church together in Wales, church of Scotland, the 1277 movement and Congregational Federation.
