The Friends of St. Mary's Nottingham Nottingham's Parish and Civic Church The Friends of St. It's open to all. The Parish and Civic Church of St Mary The Virgin, Nottingham. Everyone is welcome.

Mary's was established in 1974 to foster interest in the ancient Parish & Civic Church of Nottingham and to bring together all who support it. The friends also seek to assist to Vicar, Wardens and Parochial Church Council in improving the church and it's environment. Mary's Nottingham is a registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales as a charity number 1066583

To be a member of the

Friends, you can be of any faith or none and do not have to be members of the congregation. Located on High Pavement in the Lace Market, it is Nottingham's largest Anglican church. St Mary's is part of the Nottingham City Centre parish which also includes the churches of St Peter and All Saints. There are usually four services at St Mary's every week:
Wednesday @ 8.00AM - Holy Communion
Wednesday @ 6.15PM - Choral Evensong
Sunday @ 10.45AM - Sung Eucharist
Sunday @ 6.30PM - Choral Evensong + sermon

The choral services are sung by St Mary's renowned choir, directed by John Keys. More information about the choir, including the choral scholarship scheme can be found at http://www.stmaryschoirnottingham.com/
