Following Peter Siepmann’s appointment to Nottingham Cathedral after eighteen years in post, The Parish of St Peter and All Saints, Nottingham seeks an experienced conductor, organist and inspirational choral trainer to continue to develop the high standards of liturgical music central to the life of this vibrant, diverse and exceptionally welcoming parish. The main duties will be at the church of St Peter’s at the bustling heart of the city.

Salary: £12,000 p.a. plus fees for weddings, funerals, etc.

Come and join us for our February Organ Festival! We have a fantastic series of four Coffee Break Concerts starting this Saturday morning, given by local organists and a visitor from London and showcasing the magnificent organ at St Peter's.

Entry is free, but donations are invited towards the church music fund. Coffee and biscuits will be available in church prior to the concert, and the church Coffee Room will be open, where light lunches and refreshments can be purchased after the concert.

Concerts start at 11am and last just under an hour - more details can be found on the attached poster.

So moving to sing Cecilia McDowall's hugely powerful 'Light eternal' at this morning's Service of Remembrance. This beautiful piece was, as is happens, commissioned by our friend at , Director of Music Peter Davis when he was at , and has now become a favourite of ours here at St Peter's. We will remember them.

Last Sunday, it was announced that Peter Siepmann will be leaving the parish at the end of November to take up the role of Director of Music at Nottingham (St Barnabas) Cathedral. Peter has been on the music team in the parish for 23 years, with 18 of those as Director of Music. Whilst he will be hugely missed by the choir and all those in the wider parish, we wish him well in this new and exciting chapter.
