St Michael the Archangel Halam

St Michael the Archangel Halam St Michael's Halam is a beautiful and thriving Norman Church in a picturesque Nottinghamshire village.

It boasts a lovely mediaeval glass window and a splendid new two-manual organ installed in 2010. Halam Church is Norman, dating from about the same time as Southwell Minster, and has some lovely examples of stained glass, in particular the 15th century mediaeval ‘Adam and Eve’ window located in the chancel. It has a fine Norman chancel arch much praised by Nicholas Pevsner. A splendid new two-manual organ in Halam Church was installed in January 2010.
