It was lovely to meet Sandhya and Leon from Gedling Borough Council last week at St James' Drop in for Coffee! They came to talk to us about grant funding for local community groups!

Do you have a community-led project that you need funding for? The Greater Carlton Pride in Place Community and Sports Grant Scheme is live. The deadline for applications is Friday 14th August.

The grant scheme aims to support community-led projects in Greater Carlton that improve neighbourhoods, strengthen local pride and create long-term benefits for residents.

Sandhya Parekh, Greater Carlton Pride in Place Programme Manager, and Leon Dale, Economic Growth and Regeneration Officer, were out last week across Greater Carlton meeting with local community groups and organisations to promote the scheme.

St James Church hosted a Mothers Union afternoon tea celebration to celebrate 150 years of the organisation.
The entertainment was provided by the Mapperley Ukulele group! A fun time was had by all!
