Nottingham Street Pastors are a group of volunteers working within the night time economy.

It was a great pleasure to have British novelist and short story writer Jon McGregor come and observe a shift with our street pastor team this weekend.

We love sharing information about the work we do in our city with local community groups.
We often deliver street pastor talks to local church groups, Local WI groups and many other community groups within the city.

for national volunteers week we wanted to celebrate and thank all our volunteers, so tonight we are holding a service of thanksgiving at St Stephen church.

Our teams are so passionate and committed to helping keep Nottingham safe, and helping people whose night has taken a turn for the worst .

We are hosting a service of Thanksgiving this Tuesday to say thank you to all our street pastors for the fantastic work they do.

Happy national flip flop day
In the last year Street Pastors Nottingham have given out 192 pairs of flip flops to help prevent serious foot injuries. This help to save the NHS thousands of pounds.

Not only do our street pastors support the night-time economy in Nottingham, we also are on hand to support big events happening within the city.
This weekend we were on hand to assist at both nights of the take that concert at the city ground.
