The annual Ride and Stride takes place on September 13th. Ride + Stride is the single largest source of income for many Historic Churches Trusts, enabling them to make Grants to places of Christian worship. In Nottinghamshire, the total money raised is split between the trust and those participating churches. You can sponsor riders and walkers and churches can be sponsored for the number of visitors they receive. There are sponsorship forms in both churches for David and Paul who will be cycling, Julie will be travelling to a few local ones too and is looking for sponsors. If you feel able to help man a church during the day please have a word with the wardens.
