Come to Church this Sunday!
This Sunday (17th May) we are back with our monthly service at St Timothy's Church. This month, two of our newer members are re-affirming the baptism vows made for them as infants. This is bound to be a joyful & spirit filled service so why not join us in welcoming them into the family of Christ this Sunday.
Not sure about it all? That's fine too, come and see what its all about, ask questions and find out about Jesus for yourself.
Doors open at 10.30am for refreshments with the service itself starting at 11am

Sending a big thankyou to Asda Arnold for this donation of items to help us run our Together@Tims Renew Wellbeing Cafe.

Our cafe style space is open to all and invites people to come along, just as they are, for some time to improve their wellbeing. Bring a hobby, join in one of ours, read a newspaper, do a puzzle, play a game or just come along for a chat.
Essential items like these being donated means we can continue to offer this space for free to everyone.

Anyone is welcome to join us 1-3pm every Wednesday afternoon

School Uniform wanted!
Our last giveaway was such as success that we gave away almost all of our secondary school stock and as such have decided not to hold a giveaway in the May school holidays. Instead we will be concentrating on collecting for our main giveaway event on Saturday 25th July. Please get in touch to donate uniform for our local secondary schools. Everything is given away to local families for free.
Lets get together and help each other in this easy yet practical way.

There was a farmer who grew excellent quality corn. Every year he won the award for the best grown corn. One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew it. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors. “How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?” the reporter asked.
“Why sir,” said the farmer, “Didn’t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn.”
So is the same with our lives... Those who want to live meaningfully and well must help enrich the lives of others, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others find happiness..

This story sums up what it is to be part of the St Timothy’s Community. Where we all aim to live with grace and love so that we may love our neighbour, help each other and grow together as disciples of Christ.
If you want to know more, come along to our Renew Wellbeing Cafe on Wednesday afternoons (1-3pm) or why not join us at our next Sunday Service on 17th May at 11am
