Your closest friend today could become one of your greatest regrets on Yawm-al-Qiyamah.

The person you cannot imagine losing may be quietly making you lose Allah, normalising your sins, weakening your Salah, & silencing your guilt until Haram no longer feels like Haram.

Then comes the day when friendship cannot save you, & you cry: “If only I had never taken that person as a close friend!" (Qur'an 25:28)

Be careful who you call your ‘best friend’. You may love their company today, defend them against everyone, & fear losing them, only to stand on Judgement Day wishing with everything in you: ‘Ya Allah, I wish I had never met them.
