🎩✨ We’re bringing a little bit of Victorian magic to the Mary Potter Heritage Centre this Heritage Open Days! ✨👒

This year, we’re bringing Victorian times to life with some very special characters! Come along and see if you can find them around the Heritage Centre. Discover how people from different walks of Victorian life would have dressed — from a working-class mother, to a young girl attending soirées, to an adult Victorian gentleman.

It’s a fun way for the whole family to step back in time, get up close to history and imagine what life was really like in the Victorian era during Mary Potter’s time.

As we continue our journey through the history of the Mary Potter Heritage Centre, we look back to 2013—a truly significant year. It marked the 100th anniversary of the death of Venerable Mary Potter, Foundress of the Little Company of Mary.

Throughout the centenary year, the Heritage Centre welcomed Sisters, family members, pilgrims, and visitors from around the world, all coming together to honour Venerable Mary Potter's life, Mission, and enduring legacy. Each visit was a reminder that her vision of compassionate care and faithful service continues to inspire people across generations and continents.

✨ A journey through time at the Mary Potter Heritage Centre ✨

Every visitor who steps through the doors of the Mary Potter Heritage Centre becomes part of our story.

Today, we look back to 2012, a year that saw many visitors from near and far come to discover the inspiring life and legacy of Venerable Mary Potter. Among the many groups and individuals we welcomed were the Women's History Group, Healthcare professionals from Australia on pilgrimage, pupils from Grace Dieu Manor School, members of the African Institute from Hyson Green, and Religious Sisters from Korea and Thailand—to name just a few.

These visitors came from different countries, cultures, and walks of life, yet all were drawn by the inspiring story of Venerable Mary Potter and the lasting impact of her vision and Mission.
