Brass Band Conceert

On Tuesday 15th September at 2.30pm the Seniors have organised a brass band performance in church. Anyone - of whatever age! - is very welcome to come along and enjoy the music.

New Term - St Giles Tiddlers is back!

Do you look after a little one on a Thursday morning? We are looking forward to seeing you back at Tiddlers this week, or perhaps meeting you for the first time.
Thursday 10th September 10:00am - 11:30am in St Giles Church Hall. Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. £2 for the first child, 50p per additional child.

Please head over to the St Giles Tiddlers page for the sign up link. You must sign up if you are wanting to join us. We’ll have tea and coffee, toast, rice cakes and biscuits available.
We'll have the usual range of activities with a craft to enjoy as well. Kirsty and our team of volunteers are looking forward to seeing you there ☺️

This morning, we had the absolute joy of saying a massive thank you to Ellen for 10 incredible years serving as our Children & Families Worker! 👏✨

From seeing young kids grow up through our youth groups to watching them thrive at university and beyond in their faith. Ellen’s ministry has touched so many lives in our church family.

Alpha is for anyone who would like to explore all sorts of questions about life and unpack the basics of the Christian faith. Each session involves food, a talk and a discussion - there's no pressure at all; just come along once and see what you think. We are starting a new Alpha course in September - w/c 21st September - exact date and time tbc. If you might be interested in joining speak to Joanna or Graham in church, or email [email protected]. Many come to evensong to simply listen to the many words of scripture sung but others would love to have the chance to sing more of the service – and here is your opportunity. Anyone who wants to come and learn the music is welcome to come and join us at 3.15pm on Sunday 6th September as we rehearse for the service. Why not give it a go?

Rainy afternoon youth meet up. Games in the park relocated to games in the church! Sam brought snacks, card games and board games to keep the teenagers entertained.

After a little pause over the school summer holiday, it was great to be back with service@7.

We had a fantastic evening together, including being introduced to a brilliant new song 🎶 and hearing the story behind our winning summer photo competition entry 📸☀️

It was a great way to kick off our return — catching up, worshipping together and enjoying being back as a community. We'd love to see you next week if you've not been before.
