A place that promotes the values of kindness, charity, forgiveness, patience, perseverance and neighbourliness, in the spirit of Islamic teachings
A welcoming place for people of all backgrounds seeking an understanding of Islam and Muslims
A peaceful sanctuary where people can come to worship and gather in tranquillity
A community-oriented place that brings together a group of worshippers who will be gracious and helpful neighbours to the surrounding local community and support an atmosphere of peace, tolerance and cross-community sharing
A charitable place where humanitarian and charitable causes are supported
An informative place where access to other community services can be acquired
A place in Nottingham to work with young people to help them live an ethical life. ACTIVITIES
Below is a list of some of the activities that will be carried out to help achieve our mission. The Board has the right to add to or amend the list as required. Lead congregational daily prayers in the mosque as well as special prayers for Jummah, Ramadan and Eid
Provide help and support to integrate local refugees into the community
Run Arabic and Quran classes for all age groups
Run Islamic Studies classes teaching about Islamic history, morals, manners and theology
Provide Advice and counselling by qualified Imams
Arrange and manage funeral prayers and burial arrangements including the Janazah (funeral) prayer at our centre
Provide venue rooms for hiring of activities and gatherings in Nottingham which are compatible with the Islamic faith
Work with Interfaith leaders and local charities to help promote interfaith relations
Fostering and cultivating an atmosphere of inclusivity in particular providing support to revert (convert) muslims
Hold Open Days for the entire community to help promote Islam and community relations
Carry out Fundraising activities to help support objectives
Carry out Zakat collection and redistribution to eligible charitable purposes both within the UK and around the world
Organise and facilitate a Muslim Marriage Matchmaking service in line with Islamic law
Run health awareness classes and clinics to help promote better health amongst the elderly community
Run education and social classes tailored for the elderly community with the specific aim of alleviating social isolation
Run a Langar (scheduled free cooked food) for the community regardless of ethnic origin or religious background
