On the 31st night, we gathered as one church family to cross over into 2026 in the presence of God. Though this post comes late, the prayers, praise, and powerful atmosphere of that night remain with us 🤍
We lifted our voices in worship 🎶, gave thanks for God’s faithfulness throughout the year 🙏🏽, and stepped into the new year with prayer, expectation, and surrender ✨
As we move forward into 2026, we declare a year led by the Holy Spirit 🕊️ — a year of growth, obedience, healing, breakthrough, and deeper intimacy with Jesus Christ ✝️
May the Lord order our steps , cover us with His grace, and establish the work of our hands ✨
“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” — Psalm 121:8 📖

On the same blessed day as the christening, we also took time to celebrate and honour members of our youth group.
Our pastor, Andy Skripcha Afropong, presented certificates to recognise and encourage faith, growth, and excellence. Theodosia and Martin were awarded certificates in celebration of their outstanding GCSE achievements — a testament to their hard work, dedication, and God-given potential.
We also rejoiced with Lauren, who received a certificate following her baptism, marking her public declaration of faith and her decision to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour.
Moments like these remind us of the importance of nurturing both spiritual and academic growth in our young people. We pray that God continues to guide their steps, strengthen their faith, and lead them into the plans He has prepared for them.

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12

On the 28th, we gathered in God’s presence for a special christening service for baby Kendra Oasis Dorgbetor 🤍
It was a heartfelt moment of thanksgiving, dedication, and prayer as we committed her life into the loving hands of the Lord.
The name Kendra, meaning wise ruler, speaks of purpose and promise. May she grow in faith and wisdom, walk in obedience to God, and allow the Lord to guide her path in all she does. May His grace cover her, His light lead her, and His love be her foundation throughout her life.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

Last Sunday, we had the honour of dedicating our precious son, David Bonney Kwame Boakye-Awuku, in a beautiful naming and dedication ceremony surrounded by family, love, and God’s presence. It was a day of joy, thanksgiving, and blessings as we spoke life over him and committed his journey into the Lord’s hands.

Just like David in the Bible, we believe he has been chosen for great things — a child after God’s own heart, destined for purpose, favour, and strength.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” — Jeremiah 1:5
“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.” — Psalm 127:3

We pray that David grows in wisdom, courage, and grace — that he will rise to fulfil every purpose God has placed within him. May his name carry honour, and may his life reflect God’s goodness to the world.

Welcome once again, our mighty little warrior. 💙🙏✨

What a blessing it was to serve! On Saturday, 17th May 2025, the youth from The Church of Pentecost UK – Nottingham District, together with other Pentecostal churches, came together for a day of community volunteering at Makeaton Park. From planting seeds to fixing sheds, every task was done with joy and unity. We didn’t just work the soil — we grew in faith, fellowship, and love. Grateful for the opportunity to give back.

A special milestone—our newly baptized youth took communion for the first time. A sacred step in their walk with Christ. We celebrate this moment of faith and fellowship!

What a powerful time in God’s presence. Grateful for the Word, the worship, and the unity of His people.
