We are FREE, which means that we are completely independent of state, or any other, control or influence. We are EVANGELICAL which means that we believe the Bible to be God's Word and desire to make known its message of Salvation through Jesus Christ alone as widely as possible. We are also REFORMED, in that we hold to the 'doctrines of grace' commonly known as 'Calvinism', and BAPTIST, subscribin
g to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. In addition, rather than having one pastor or minister, we practice the plurality and parity of elders, currently with two elders: Bob Gilbert & Luther Chaplin. We are ordinary and friendly people, of different ages and from different walks of life, who have come to realise the simple truth that we are sinners in need of saving and who have experienced God's forgiveness and grace through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ on our behalf. We aim to show God's love to others in all we say and do - but still fail at times and need His help!
